  1. Peer Support Peer Support
Trained Peer Advocates work one-on-one with people infected with HIV/AIDS. They provide ongoing support through in-person meetings, telephone calls, and e-mail. Peer Advocates build trust through respect, personal sharing and confidentiality. They foster a sense of connection and encourage Twin States clients to become empowered in all aspects of their lives.
  2. Women's Retreat
Four days and three nights at a beautiful inn in southern Vermont! Informational workshops, support groups, massage, good food and the company of other women living with HIV. The retreat is open to HIV+ women from Vermont and New Hampshire. $100 per person – partial scholarships available
  3. Support Groups
We currently offer a twice monthly support group open to anyone living with HIV. The group meets on 1st and 3rd Thursdays in St. Johnsbury. We are also looking into the possibility of a Burlington area group.
  4. Newsletter
Twin States Network printed and distributed the AWARE newsletter for many years. It was dropped some time ago, due to the cost of printing and postage. We have decided to bring it back as an electronic newsletter. It is planned for publication 2-3 times a year. The first issue was released in October 2018.
  5. Fitness Fund
We have grant funding from Broadway CARES to provide fitness "scholarships". These funds can be used to pay for gym memberships, yoga or dance classes, or to purchase fitness equipment such as running shoes or bicycles for use at home.
